Following the blizzard conditions on Sunday, January 18th, many back roads across all regions of Sunrise School Division are expected to remain unplowed for tomorrow morning’s bus run. These conditions make bus travel unsafe, and the forecasted cold temperatures will create additional risk for students.
As a result, all school buses will not be running on Monday, January 19th, and all schools in the division will be closed.
We understand that unplanned school closures can be challenging for families. We are sharing this information this evening to allow additional time for planning and arrangements.
